This past weekend I had the wonderful opportunity to go to San Francisco to visit LANE! It was so much fun but it went by way too fast. Rebecca, Aubrey and I flew out early early saturday morning.
Lane picked us up around 10:30 am from the airport so we had all day to have fun! We spent the day just wondering around the city eating some good eats, and taking lots of pictures! We were pretty pooped by 5:00 so we headed back to Lanes place, took more pictures and watched a flick.
Sunday Lane had to go into work, so it was just us girls. It was pouring rain that day. So it was an adventure. I'm pretty sure Lane was worried we were going to get lost, but I'm proud to say we only had one little mix-up with BART. We accidentally ended up in Oakland, instead of San Fran. Oops.
But, we figured it out and made it safely to San Fran. When we got there we hopped on the trolley and headed down to Fisherman's Wharf, we saw all the good stuff down there, and ate some pretty good lunch!
We then got on a bus and rode out to see the Golden Gate Bridge.
I'm pretty proud of us for not getting lost or stolen!
Our flight left monday morning, and we really didn't want to leave and come back to real life.
But I think Lane needed to recover from his 'girl' weekend. We had so much fun! Thanks for letting us come Lane!
Remember the days of playing heads-up, seven-up? Well my family decided it would be a lovely sunday evening activity. Everyone joined in, even the dog Minnie.
